This was probably one of the first books released after the death of Keith Moon and suprise suprise it sticks to the OTT stories about Keith.

It lacks any depth and spells Entwistle’s name wrong throughout. Out and out cash in, and not a very good one at that.

My bugbear about this is the source of the quotes are not given so they can not be fitted into context.

A serious cash in on the The Who’s growth in popularity in 1979. I wouldn’t recommend it, but conversely I wouldn’t get rid of it

The Who played on 28/12/79 at Hammersmith Odeon, as part of the Concerts for the People of Bangladesh supported by the Specials and the Pretenders. It was part of a four day charity fund raiser and the other headliners were Queen (27/12), The Clash (29/12) and Wings (30/12) Townshend and Kenney Jones also played the last night as part of the Rockestra line up.
