Live at Leeds 2 - The Book

I compiled a book / scrap book of the Leeds Uni show from 2006.

This featured fan photos and every article I could track down about the gig.  It was available on lulu.com as a self published hard copy book, I had a free download on Lulu that seams to have disappeared so here's another copy.

LAL 2

2008 Programme

2008 Programme I got from the Indigo/O2 shows.

This is another album sized programme, with 36 pages.

No text beyond the tour credits. Photos are a mix of 2007 shots and the others featuring Entwistle and Moon.

Nice programme for the 2007 photos, where as the older ones have been seen umpteen times before.

I don't know if this differs in any way from the programme from the US dates in 2008.

Update

I haven't forgotten this blog and there will be major updates soon

As of today there have been 1841 articles downloaded, so i reckon it's worth continuing with.

Probably in April there will be another batch of articles going up - probably covering the whole of the 1980s which will be another 80+ articles.

After that I will put up the book reviews from the old website.

Then it will be the articles from the 90s and naughties - another 120 or so articles that I hope to be up during the summer

Live at Leeds 2 - The Book

Live at leeds 2 - The Book

I put this together after the Leeds show, it is a collection of the press coverage of the return to Leeds University show, and photos from a fair number of different sources many of which have never been published on line.

It's basically the best tour programme you will ever see - as it's from after the event.

If you don't want to buy a copy of the book, which is published pretty much at cost, then there is a free download of all the content as a pdf file.

The book wasn't put together to make money rather as a labour of love. Im from Leeds so getting chance of a show at Leeds Uni was a dream come true, as I didn't see The Who until 1979, so never saw them there first time around..

So please enjoy a copy of the book whether it is as a download or if you decide to buy a copy.

2002 Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts at Royal Albert Hall This programme has articles about the various headliners for the weeks shows. This includes a three page feature on The Who by Matt Kent. These were John Entwistle’s last shows with The Who on 07/02/02 and 08/02/02.

Quadrophenia Tour 1996/1997

There are two different versions of the programme, but I am not certain which came from which leg of the tour.

The first I don't have details of, apart from it's the normal large size programme, that I think came from the 1997 leg of the tour,

The second is a 12x12 inch programme, I got at the december 1996 show in Manchester. Features the story of Quadrophenia, Two page features on Townshend, Entwistle and Daltrey. Half page on PJ Proby and Billy Idol. Lyrics to Quadrophenia.
